Percentile (Experienced color matchers)

The percentile for the current Total Error Score with respect to a distribution of Total Error Scores obtained from a group of experienced color matchers.

For example, a figure of 90% means that the current Total Error Score would be in the top 10% for experienced color matchers.

The analysis is based on results for 150 personnel of three to twenty years experience in the color control laboratories of manufacturers of dyes, rugs, plastics, textiles and paints.
